Smart Sound and Video Ltd established by Eric Hewson in October of 2000.

Since then we have completed a number of projects around the Auckland region, a list of which is available on our testimonial page.

Prior to establishing Smart Sound and Video Ltd Eric worked for a major electronics retailer in Palmerston North and over a 17 year period was responsible for in excess of 300 major professional sound system installations in an area ranging from New Plymouth to Napier and down as far as Nelson.

Gavin Chen Joined the team at Smart Sound and Video Ltd in January of 2006. Gavin Has a bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from the Shanghai University in 1983 and worked for many years providing audio visual systems for stadiums in Asia and Africa. Gavin emigrated to NZ in 1995 and has been involved with audio visual and computing/ IT ever since.

Gavin's AV experience and IT knowledge brings to Smart Sound and Video Ltd  the expertise to combine these two rapid converging technologies.
